the label was established in 2000 and is maintained by David Clarkson.

the purpose of planetsounds is to release and promote the music of ILLUMINATI, David Clarkson and the
LABORATORY SERIES of compilation CDs.

laboratory series offer a means of releasing fresh, challenging and uncompromising
work by artists of a varied/eclectic nature, be it modern electronics or classical, electro-
acoustic or experimental. The first compilation was released in March 2001 with the second
released in March 2002.

please note: planetsounds will cease to exist at the end of 2002. The label will be joining forces with rsi recordings to exist as a new label called lotta continua. The back catalogue will be still available and the future involves the same artists. Visitors to this website will automatically be directed to lotta continua.
