ARTIST INFORMATION :

BESS KELOID (Gary Robert Kelly) resides in Manchester, UK. He has released CD's on his 'Incandessa' label, notably 'A Monstrous Calf' and performed shows in the region. His contribution for the compilation is based on source material from Karl Jenkins.
IRRITANTS are a Milton Keynes, UK, based ensemble who offer a melting pot of many musical styles. They often perform in London and collaborate with other musicians. Their contribution for the compilation features Yumi Hara Cawkwell (re Frank Chickens) and Squid Tempest
WAFFELSCHMIEDE/ OFF BAND is a Berlin based project with Karl Von Horsten at the controls. Their music spans many years and underground releases.
THE BALL is Adrian Ball, Manchester, UK based electronic musician. Adrian has not long been involved in releasing his music and performing live.
MARK PILKINGTON is another Manchester, UK based electronic artist. Mark has produced a lot of work from his Thought Universe complex including records, CD's and video game sounds.
MONTE CRISTO is a mysterious traveller who sends a tape to the Planetsounds offices from wherever he is in the world.
ILLUMINATI is the project of Planetsounds' Dave Clarkson, already detailed on this website.
TRICLOPS are an extreme sounding group made up of members from the Planetsounds, Fflint Central and RSI recordings labels. So far, they have shared events with Japanese band, Melt Banana, and Germany's Bomb 20.
VILLA 21 is from the home of Pigdog recordings. His music is uncompromising, abrasive and challenging.
MILD MAN JAN is Manchester based artist, Spencer Marsden. He has produced a lot of work to date, including appearances on the now legendary 0161 Manchester based compilation, work with V/Vm, Speedranch/Jansky Noise and Mark E Smith., as well as often performing live sound pieces.
TELE:FUNKEN is the brainchild of Midlands, UK based, Tom Fenn. So far, Tom has produced several records and CD's and made numerous appearances on compilations. He will already be familiar to many of you via releases such as 'A Collection of Ice Cream Vans Vols 1 & 2'.
ANDI CHAPPLE is a Manchester based DJ/Musician/Writer. Andi has been active around the Manchester region as an improviser and host of club nights (Finestyle).
FIBREGLASS MESSIAH and 496a both have chosen to remain anonymous.
